Tapas – Comics and Novels App Reviews

Im trying to read so they say I was going to kings daughter but none of the pages will load and some will load the device wont load please fix the loading issue.

Tapas is an amazing app. Readers will love it. There are always amazing stories to dive into. The app also allows authors to easily share their work either for free or though coins. Coons are easy to obtain so you never have to pay, unless you hate watching ads. I love this app and spend probably too much time on it. Please download and support tapas. It is an amazing and highly underrated app. It is my favorite app of the year.

This app went from being an amazing app where readers can read and share their thoughts and awe on every artists comics to a greedy app, asking to buy keys and whatnot for EVERY chapter

You can only read like 3 chapters until youre forced to buy it. I thought this is was going to be an entertaining app but like the rest, its money based.

I love how simplistic the app is and how easy it is to find and read what others made. However, I do not like the fact that creators can mark the price on their keys. I have spent so much time wasting it on ads to gain coins where I can buy keys. Also, on the website, Tapastic, there is a profile page where you and others can comment on your page. Yet, on the app you dont have a comment area. Its very disappointing, because I relied on the app and I missed out on cool opportunities. I hope you will change or improve these concerns. I really do love the app/website but I think these are issues that need to be fixed soon.

This app is awesome! Theres amazing artists (in art and literature) and I love their stories and constantly check for chapters! I recommend it to story lovers and art enthusiasts!

I have been using this app for a few weeks now and I have to say that I love the stories being provided. Although I do wish that the keys are not needed, I do understand that the purchases must be needed for something. I am happy that there is an option to gain coins through watching videos. It is time consuming but at least there is an alternative to having to buy coins. I am very happy with the customer service that was provided to me. I decided to purchase coins because I was dying to read more of a certain story but I did not receive them right away after purchasing. As I was scared of losing money, I immediately emailed for their help. In less than an hour, I received a reply saying that the issue was taken care of and my coins had been sent to my account. I appreciate the staffs quick work and I am thankful for their quick reply.

Ever since the update Ive noticed a few problems: 1) Comic pages not loading. Even if I wait for the comic to load it wont. I realized that if I scroll all the way down and then back up it loads but still its a hassle. 2) The 3 "buttons" at the bottom of the screen where the comments are have shifted left and arent centered anymore. I dont know if this was on purpose. 3) There are now pop-up ads that are very annoying to say the least. 4) App randomly crashes. Overall, its still a pretty good app although pretty buggy.

I dont want to wait a week for a single key. I dont want to pay money. Just do advertisements instead.

Ive given this apps transition a year-long chance and Im over it. The app is free, but the webcomics the app advertises heaviest are becoming increasingly more costly, and more difficult for the impoverished to access with time. Be honest, you guys want everyone to make money off of this including yourselves so just STOP spamming poor comic enthusiasts with your "deals" when youve completely stopped giving free coin boosts. Just charge for the apps usage already. In the mean time, the rest of us will be over on Line Webtoons app enjoying their lack of spam and their surplus of webcomic artists who set up their own patreons and their own advertising.

Its very convenient and straightforward. There are a lot of complaints about keys and coins, but its an easy way to earn some money for the artist and keep the app going. Keep doing what youre doing!

I really enjoy this app there are so many cool comic and books to read by really talented writers☺️ but the app itself has some flaws it will sometimes kick you out or doesnt give you the coins/keys you earned. I had a bad experience with this app because I bought $5 worth of coins to read a comic and I sadly never received the coins I paid for☹️

This app has had a lot of problems in the past. I remember when the app wouldnt even OPEN for months. But, theyve fixed that and have made a lot of improvements. I especially like how you can now earn free coins which you can use to directly support your favorite content creators. Overall, its not perfect. But, the app is still awesome and its getting better with time.

I have payed 5 then 15 dollars but have yet earned my coins... Id either like a refund or the coins... preferably the coins

This app is really good, works well and is a lot of fun! I would suggest it to other people, but there is one problem thats really bugging me. The books in tapas dont have ratings or mature filters like the comics do. That makes it difficult to avoid coming across smut or things like that. I dont want to read that, so every time I come across it, I have to immediately exit out. This keeps happening and its getting ridiculous. At one point I closed out of a story that started to get a little... weird and I tried to read another one only to discover that the next one I read got weird by the second chapter. At this point, I dont want to read the stories anymore. Im only a kid and I dont need to be seeing that stuff. So please please please put ratings or mature filters or something on the books!

I love this app!

I really like this app. The stories they have are all very interesting and their coin-based system is a great way to give back to the artists and authors for their work. I also had trouble with purchasing coins, but quickly after sending an email about the issue along with a receipt, somebody helped me and restored the coins I bought. The community is great and they seem to know what they are doing :)

App is great. Love tipping creators and the ads arent too long to earn free coins but I wish I could watch more ads
