Tapas – Comics and Novels App Reviews

Very nice app. I would love to use it daily. A recurring issue is that the comics are loading slowly or even stop loading alltogether. (On WiFi) There are no indicator of progress either.

Im really sad it doesnt support iOS 7 any longer. I loved using the app to read comics, but now I cant.

Tapastic is a nice app for a great service. Theyve got some great comic series (eg. GaMERCaT, the Outer Door, Randomphilia, Fail by Error and more...) and this is the perfect way to keep up to date.

The graphics are solid. I have the app on my iPad, even though its for the phone, and its not grainy and stretched out live other apps are, its solid and pretty looking. Navigation is good, and I can easily choose what chapter I want to read from any of the comics Ive subscribed to.

The facelift looks great! Its a lot easier to view it on the app then on safari. Sometimes the app lags when I scroll and it doesnt load when I click on them. Other then that it is great.

Awesome app, so many great comics on Tapastic and this makes them so much easier to enjoy :)

Im a big fan of the website so I had high hopes for the app. I love the 5 comics/day idea although it could be slow some days. However takes quite some time for my app to start up and continuously crashes while Im trying to read the comics :S (and its not my wifi or device) - otherwise itd be an awesome app

It has good reading format and a simple design. Wish there was a place to upload pages, and an iPad version of the app.

HI THIS APP WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF YOU COULD FLIP THE SCREEN TO FIT HORIZONTALLY BECAUSE ZOOMING IN EVERY PANEL TO READ SMALL TEXT IS ANNOYING AS HECK THANKS.

This app is great! Tapastic has always been the go-to place for comics. Theres issues loading the next comic tho. It tends to take longer than it should at times or just doesnt load at all. Sometimes I even get a Network Error message when it takes too long to load! My internet works fine in other apps tho so theres definitely something else wrong. (Running on iOS 8.4)

I like to go on this app daily, its has a few bugs and it needs more improvements. But still.......I LOVE IT!

The images do not load for the comics. Some of them are coming up while some parts of the comic never show up. Its a great app in terms of set up and design but not actually functional. Please fix this!

It is nice on iphone but on ipad the are those black borders which annoys me

Theres a box that keeps popping up saying something went wrong and to report it?

Usually a pretty good app, but now I get a popup saying I have to update it to use it, but theres no update I can find! Ive deleted and redownloaded the app 3 times and I still get it!

The new update is awesome! The interface is neat and well designed. However, where did the search bar go?

Why you gotta give it currency? This used to be a place where users could create content for other people to enjoy freely. Now theres all this nonsense about it needing "keys" and "coins"? Im not impressed.

Transition to the new app was poorly executed. New app is absolutely great though! Minor bugs, but once patched and updated, will be great.
